Hi searcher,

Once you launch an Adwords campaign you'll become very familiar with destination URL's. Your destination URL is the URL your users will be taken to when they click on your Adwords ad. Your display URL is the URL that appears below your ad.

To see if auto-tagging works, simply append ?gclid=123xyz (ie. example.com/?gclid=123xyz) to your destination URL and see if you are able to arrive at that URL (ie. don't get a page not found error).

I'm trying to sync up Google Adwords with Google Analytics, and it's asking me if I want to auto-tag my destination URL. To do this, I'm supposed to carry out a test first to see if auto-tagging works, but I can't figure out what they mean by my destination URL?
