Is anyone else seeing this? When I use Google's External Keywords Tool, I get different numbers depending on whether I'm logged into my Adwords account or not.

I'm seeing the same thing. One time there were more results when logged in, the other time when logged out. Not just a change in numbers either, I'll see entirely different keyword phrases show up...

Unbelievable. I was just going to ask you guys to supply some examples, when I found my own:
Logged in to Google Keyword Tool (via Adwords) - I search for "BP Oil Spill" and get a measly 320 global monthly searches.
Logged out - I get 301,000! WTF?

Actually in my experience they differ based on the Adwords account you're logged into. I logged in and out of different Adwords account and got different results in Google's Keyword Suggestion tool.
Getting different #'s is strange. I got entirely different results (keyword phrase suggestions), which made me think they simply tailored the results to that Adwords account - maybe based on the ad campaigns I've done?
